Job Summary
Own all CHB operations services for assigned customers, including providing customer service, processing Customs entries and PGA for clearance, and coordinating file processing with team members. Open entry files, process entries according to outlined KPIs, and coordinate clearance with forwarders, steamship lines, and airlines to ensure timely shipment release. Complete customer billing, tracking, and tracing for inbound shipments, while ensuring required documentation is uploaded into the operating system. Maintain customer SOPs and make updates as needed. This role supports a small group of client accounts by expediting shipments from start to finish within Maersk Customs Services, helping customers navigate customs processes and coordinate global supply chains.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of CHB experience
- 6 -12 months of experience in the customs industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate confidently
- Detail oriented
- Ability to multi-task in a face paced environment
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required, or equivalent work experience
- Customs House Brokerage License preferred but not required
