Job Summary
Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned customers, providing timely updates and resolving shipment inquiries. Prepare and submit U.S. Customs entries and Partner Government Agency filings while managing entry files against defined KPIs. Coordinate shipment clearance with freight forwarders, carriers, and CFS facilities to ensure timely release, then track and trace inbound shipments from arrival through final delivery. Maintain accurate documentation, upload complete entry packages into internal systems, and support billing processes and operational reporting. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure coverage and knowledge sharing during peak volumes. This role is well suited for someone detail-oriented and motivated to build expertise in customs brokerage while contributing directly to service delivery and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- 6–12 months of experience in customs brokerage, logistics, or a related operational role
- Solid understanding of import processes, documentation, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with multiple stakeholders
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent relevant work experience
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years preferred in CHB or similar environments
- Customs Broker License is an advantage but not required
