Job Summary
Operate heavy-duty trucks and semi-trailers safely to transport mining concentrate, petroleum, and other cargo between the mine site and Baie Déception port over 100 kilometers. Conduct daily vehicle inspections, complete mechanical reports and time sheets, and maintain strict adherence to speed limits and regulations. Perform essential maintenance and repair work on the fleet, including preparing trailers for loading at the factory, while reporting any mechanical issues or accidents immediately. Assist in safety meetings and review related documentation. Work a rotating schedule of three consecutive weeks followed by three weeks off, with both day and night shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Diplôme DEP en conduite de camion ou expérience équivalente
- Permis de conduite classe 1 valide
- 5 années d'expérience comme conducteur de camion remorque
- Expérience sur des chemins hors route non pavés
- Bonne forme physique
- Être débrouillard et autonome
- Rotation 3 semaines de travail consécutives suivi de 3 semaines de repos
- Travailler sur des quarts de jour et de nuit
Desired Qualifications
- Expérience en conduite de b-train
- Permis explosif
- Démontrer un bon esprit d'équipe
