Job Summary
Chauffeur Classe 3 responsible for obtaining the documentation for the assigned delivery route, loading cargo into the truck to maximize space, securing cargo to keep it impeccable during transport, delivering cargo to the designated location using the best or assigned route, and obtaining a delivery acknowledgment from the recipient. Requires a valid Class 3 license, 3 years of heavy-truck driving experience, a clean driving record with minimal infractions, strong customer service and communication skills, reliability, initiative, and the ability to lift up to 50 lb. Certification in crane-truck operation and forklift operation are noted as required/assets. The role is based in Laval, Quebec, Canada and involves on-site delivery responsibilities with safety and compliance expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years experience driving heavy trucks
- Valid Class 3 license (Class 1 an asset)
- Clean driving record (only minor infractions accepted, no points or responsible accidents in last 3 years)
- Politeness and organized demeanor
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Reliability and willingness to take initiative
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lb (23 kg)
- Valid crane truck operator certificate (boom truck)
- Valid forklift operator certificate (an asset)
