Job Summary
Chatbot Developer responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise-grade chatbots and AI-powered conversational agents. The role encompasses managing the full development lifecycle from requirements gathering and conversational design to production deployment and ongoing optimization, building scalable cross-platform solutions, and modernizing platform architectures with Microsoft AI technologies. Key focus areas include Azure Bot Framework SDK v4, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, agent-based architectures, MuleSoft and Salesforce integrations (PeopleSoft, Salesforce APIs), omnichannel interfaces, live agent escalation, and advanced AI orchestration with GPT-based models, RAG patterns, and prompt engineering. The candidate will collaborate with product owners, UX designers, business analysts, and developers to translate business requirements into effective conversational experiences, monitor performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- Minimum 3 years of experience developing software applications with a focus on Conversational AI, Chatbots, NLP/NLU systems, AI Assistants, Generative AI Solutions
- Experience with Microsoft Conversational Technologies
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Bot Framework SDK v4, Waterfall Dialogs, Middleware Development, Conversation State Management
- Experience with or strong understanding of Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Agentic AI architectures
- Programming: C#, .NET, JavaScript; Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, REST APIs, JSON-based integrations
- Experience integrating with enterprise systems via MuleSoft, Salesforce APIs, PeopleSoft
