Job Summary
Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, maintenance, and complex repairs on chassis and related vehicle systems. Complete preventative maintenance and inspections on chassis components to ensure equipment reliability and performance. Utilize electronic diagnostic tools, service manuals, and other technical resources to accurately identify and resolve issues. Complete service documentation, work orders, warranty claims, and repair records accurately and timely. Coach and support junior technicians and apprentices by sharing technical knowledge and best practices. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, tools, and equipment. Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies and procedures while promoting a strong safety culture. Participate in ongoing training and development to maintain and expand technical skills.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in chassis products
- Ability to perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, maintenance, and complex repairs on chassis and related vehicle systems
- Ability to complete preventative maintenance and inspections on chassis components
- Ability to utilize electronic diagnostic tools, service manuals, and other technical resources
