Job Summary
Review truck chassis against hoist mounting plans and install electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic components prior to the hoist mounting process. Operate handheld plasma cutters, huck guns, torches, welders, air drills, and chain drills while using a forklift to move parts. Inspect completed work before trucks advance in the process. Read tape measures and follow detailed written or oral instructions. Requires high school diploma, 1+ years of experience, and basic welding skills. Pay is $21.58.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED or Technical Degree
- 1+ years of related experience and/or training
- Experience with handheld plasma cutter, huck gun, torch, and air tools
- Basic welding skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Knowledge of electric, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Ability to understand and carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Experienced in a fast-paced production environment
- Able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs
- Able to withstand frequent exposure to fumes, noise, vibration, dust, oil, and dirt
- Must be able to walk and/or stand a majority of the time
- Must be able to climb in and out of a truck
