Chassis Container Trailer Mechanic

Perform thorough inspections and routine maintenance on intermodal chassis, trailers, and containers, including diagnosing and repairing electrical, air brake, and hydraulic systems. Replace suspension components, landing legs, and other critical parts while handling welding, patching, and minor fabrication as needed. Conduct air brake inspections to meet safety standards, change tires, and address on-the-spot repairs. Accurately document all work for compliance records and strictly follow OSHA, FMCSA, and company safety protocols. Pitch in with other shop tasks to keep the team moving forward. Requires at least one year of chassis maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
