On-siteNew York City, New York, United States or New York, United States
Job Summary
Lead end-to-end onboarding for new and existing source systems supporting rewards use cases, from intake through production cutover and stabilization. Define data contracts, schema standards, and change management processes to reduce downstream breakage, while producing clear product and delivery artifacts including requirements, epics, and release notes. Establish data quality controls, validation rules, and reconciliation routines to drive observability and reduce mean time to detect issues. Manage the ingestion backlog using value and risk-aware sequencing, coordinating cross-functional delivery with engineering, analytics, and risk stakeholders. Define and monitor SLAs for data timeliness, accuracy, and availability, partnering with governance teams to ensure compliance and audit readiness. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and time-to-onboard for rewards capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience (or equivalent expertise) in product management, data platform delivery, or a related domain with measurable delivery outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to own requirements and execution for data integration initiatives, including backlog prioritization and release coordination.
- Experience defining data contracts and managing schemas, including versioning and change control to enable safe downstream consumption.
- Strong understanding of data quality management, including controls, validation frameworks, reconciliation, and operational issue management.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms and distributed processing concepts, and how they influence scalability, cost, and reliability.
- Experience with workflow orchestration and pipeline operations concepts (scheduling, retries, dependency management, and runbooks).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to align technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear, decision-oriented documentation.
- Proven ability to build trust and drive outcomes in a highly matrixed environment with multiple partners and competing priorities.
- Demonstrated execution discipline, including the ability to independently drive work from intake through delivery with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Strong understanding of data pipeline observability practices, including instrumentation, alerting strategies, and operational readiness reviews.
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the US.
- This role does not provide relocation assistance, so all candidates must be local to the work locations listed in the job posting or willing to relocate on their own immediately upon hire.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience delivering ingestion capabilities in regulated environments, partnering effectively with risk, compliance, and privacy stakeholders.
- Experience implementing lineage and metadata management practices that improve auditability and accelerate root-cause analysis.
- Familiarity with data governance concepts, including data classification, access controls, retention, and consent considerations.
- Demonstrated experience driving measurable improvements, such as reduced time-to-onboard, increased SLA attainment, or fewer data incidents.
- Exposure to rewards, loyalty, payments, or customer engagement data domains and associated operational dependencies.
- Demonstrated success coordinating multiple ingestion workstreams and dependencies across several engineering teams.
- Experience supporting analytics and downstream consumption needs (e.g., semantic alignment, curated datasets, documentation standards).
