Job Summary
Senior Associate in Applied AI/ML within the Consumer Business Modeling team leveraging cutting-edge quantitative techniques and one of the world’s largest consumer data repositories. Responsibilities include performing advanced analytics to solve complex business problems, generating actionable insights, contributing to the full modeling lifecycle (defining objectives, choosing methodologies, statistical analysis of large datasets, and communicating results), developing presentations for senior management, becoming a subject-matter expert in statistical/optimization/ML modeling, fostering a continuous learning mindset, and collaborating with economists, statisticians, engineers, and other analytics professionals. Required skills emphasize advanced quantitative degree, excellent communication, experience with ML/optimization/statistical models, ability to handle large-scale data, programming (Python), and familiarity with big-data environments; Ph.D. is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Operations Research, Mathematics, or equivalent quantitative field
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills to present analytical findings and influence stakeholders
- Experience in developing machine learning, optimization, and/or statistical models to solve real-world problems (e.g. Classification, Regression, Recommender Systems, Natural Language Processing, or Neural Language Modeling)
- Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability
- Significant experience working with very large scale data
- Familiarity with big-data environments (e.g. Hadoop, Spark)
- Model development experience on a cloud development platform
- Python proficiency
- Ph.D. is a plus
