Chartered/Senior Bridge Engineer

Chartered/Senior Bridge Engineer in our Bridges and Civils team within the Transportation business. Take pride in developing high-quality civil and structural designs for new constructions, renewals, maintenance, and assessments. Collaborate with national and international design teams, using leadership to create positive, sustainable impacts on society and the environment. Manage production and review of design documentation (sketches, drawings, calculations, reports, specifications); independently perform technical work and mentor junior staff. Lead teams in design, assessment, and maintenance of structural projects; develop scopes and manage internal technical supply chain, budgets, programme, and deliverables. Utilize analytical skills to derive solutions and provide engineering judgement to compare options; lead bids and tenders, and build Client relationships. Requirements include a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, professional qualification (CEng/IEng) and ICE/IStructE membership; strong knowledge of Eurocodes, DMRB, MCHW, Network Rail standards; experience with bridge design, maintenance, and assessment; proficiency with LUSAS, MIDAS, and Autodesk Structural Bridge Design; ability to manage stakeholders and deliver across contract types.
