Job Summary
As a Quantity Surveyor for CHPK Limited (part of the Celnor Group), you will deliver pre- and post-contract cost management across Commercial and Residential projects, including cost planning, tender management, contract administration, final account agreements, and reinstatement cost assessments. You will prepare and assess tender packages, provide monthly client cost reports, perform cost benchmarking and analysis, monitor development funds, manage contract administration under JCT/NEC frameworks, and conduct detailed take-offs to quantify materials and labor. The role requires a degree in Quantity Surveying, several years of QS experience in commercial/residential sectors, strong contract knowledge, and excellent client-facing communication; MRICS status is ideally pursued. The position is remote with office attendance in the Birmingham (West Midlands) office and offers a client-focused, professional, and collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related qualification
- Several years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Extensive knowledge of JCT and NEC contract suites
- MRICS status or near completion (ideally)
- Strong client-facing communication skills
