Job Summary
Charter Representative I at Sun Country Airlines provides operational oversight for charter operations and acts as a field representative in locations without direct supervision. Responsibilities include monitoring ground services for compliance and safety, leading complex charter operations, ensuring PLR and CLR accuracy, guiding ground handling agents and vendors to meet Sun Country and IOSA standards, serving as an escalation point for operational issues, conducting post-operation reviews with detailed safety and vendor performance reports, identifying process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience, acting as senior liaison with airport authorities, vendors, and VIP charter events, supporting real-time decision-making for contingency planning, generating safety reports, and assisting in training newer Charter Representatives. The role requires 1–3 years of relevant experience, strong problem-solving and communication skills, travel flexibility, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards. The position is part-time and non-exempt, with eligibility to travel frequently and reside in the contiguous United States.
Required Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of airline, ground handling, or charter operations experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex operations with minimal supervision
- Ability to make sound operational decisions under pressure
- Strong knowledge of FAA/TSA regulations, IOSA standards, and airline policies
- Excellent customer service and soft skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for detailed operational reports
- High level of professionalism when representing the airline with customers, vendors, and airport authorities
- Willingness to travel frequently and adapt to dynamic environments
- Must meet federally mandated drug and criminal history requirements
- 100% travel requirement
