Job Summary
Respond promptly to customer requests for road charter services, sourcing cost-effective transport solutions and managing supplier relationships to maximize profitability. Develop and maintain a comprehensive supplier database while ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures and high-quality documentation standards. Carry out administrative tasks including updating shipment statuses, processing invoices, filing Proofs of Delivery, and preparing quotations. Monitor export documentation requirements to support customs clearance and assist with Brexit-related activities via Government Gateway systems. Coordinate effectively with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure efficient freight movement and service level maintenance. Monday – Friday 0900-1800, Dartford, Permanent, Full-Time.
Required Qualifications

- A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to excellent service
- The ability to adapt and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- A confident, professional, and approachable manner
- Atleast 5 years' experience in a European Charter role, ideally within a large logistics organisation
- Good knowledge of European geography and transport networks
- Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of profitability within the charter market
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical skills and sound decision-making ability
- A good understanding of the European charter sector and its operational requirements
