Job Summary
Charter Operations Agent handles customer service for charter flights, disseminates information to flight dispatch, maintenance, vendors and the SOC Duty Manager, monitors charter activity, communicates movement and delay notifications, maintains manifests with confidentiality, uploads manifests for public and private charters, and collaborates to develop irregular operations with internal and external stakeholders. The role requires an associates degree or relevant experience, 1+ year airline experience, strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; candidates must pass a criminal background check and obtain a SIDA badge.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree or relevant work experience
- 1+ year(s) of related experience at an airline
- Customer service experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision under stressful situations
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, OneNote, Teams) and able to use or quickly learn applications
- Ability to prioritize, pivot and multitask in a rapidly evolving airline operations environment
- Qualified candidates must pass a criminal history background check as well as a pre-employment drug test
- Must be able to obtain a SIDA badge
