As a Charter Driver for SchoolWheels Direct, you'll transport children to and from sporting events and field trips while operating school buses safely. Key responsibilities include adhering to safety standards, conducting daily vehicle inspections, and ensuring a professional and courteous atmosphere. Applicants must hold a Class B CDL with necessary endorsements, have a minimum of five years of verifiable driving history, and pass a DOT physical examination.
Required Qualifications
- Must be over the age of 21
- Must have Class B CDL with School Bus, Air Brake, and Passenger endorsement
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical examination
- Maintain proper driving credentials
- Must have a minimum of 5 years verifiable driving history
- Must be professional and punctual
- No more than 2 moving violations and 1 preventable accident in the past 3 years
