Job Summary
Lead Transportation, Land Development, and Construction projects by managing public and private sector clients, approving proposals, and coordinating QA/QC reviews. Provide mentorship to office and field personnel, conduct performance evaluations, and handle hiring while maintaining staff certifications. Assist with business planning, budgeting, and invoice submissions to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and professional standards. Prepare scopes, fees, and manhour estimates, develop marketing leads, and represent the firm in industry organizations like ACEC and ASHE. Establish and maintain a diverse client base to build project backlog within the Charlotte region.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Professional Surveyor and Mapper (PLS)
- Valid driver's license with approved/acceptable driving history
- Successful history of project management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Technical knowledge of CADD systems; including MicroStation, ORD, Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite
