Job Summary
Develop new business by promoting Credit Union services to members, opening accounts including certificates and IRAs, and processing consumer loans from application to disbursement. Provide high-quality member service by handling teller duties, balancing cash, managing safe deposit boxes, and resolving account complaints or fraud claims. Cross-sell financial products and refer mortgage leads while completing required documentation and regulatory training. Make outbound calls to support business development goals and assist with onsite visits to potential employee groups. Maintain accuracy in all transactions and adhere to safety policies under the Branch Manager's direction.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years minimum of one year customer service experience
- Regular and reliable attendance
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or specialized financial services training
- Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) designation
- Obtain the Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) designation by passing the CUNA Financial Certification Program (FICEP) exam
