Job Summary
Conduct physical installation, integration, and servicing of audio-visual and low-voltage systems in commercial environments including corporate offices, educational institutions, and healthcare facilities. Read construction drawings and blueprints to install support infrastructure such as cable trays, conduit, and mounting hardware while operating hand and power tools. Pull, label, route, and terminate structured cabling for AV, voice, and data applications, then perform cable testing, certification, and documentation. Mount displays, projectors, microphones, cameras, and control panels per system designs, and support technicians during system commissioning. Coordinate daily with general contractors, complete daily logs and photos, and maintain a safe, compliant work environment following OSHA standards. Requires CTS certification, valid driver's license, and ability to travel up to 25–50% regionally and nationally.
Required Qualifications
- CTS certification or ability to obtain within six months of start date
- Must pass criminal background check, MVR, and drug screening
- Valid driver's license with no more than two citations in the last two years
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and complete all required safety training
- Ability to travel regularly, often on short notice, including long or irregular hours
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Suite
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment
