Job Summary
Lead power electronics and charging delivery within the ePowertrain team, managing technical deliverables, planning, reporting, and ensuring on-time delivery for EV Charging Systems, Energy Conversion, and HV Distribution projects. Define requirements, generate test plans, and manage supplier DFMEA while developing system design specifications and Statements of Work. Validate products against specifications through documented DVPs, issue system fixes, and create CCBs for charging system requirements. Collaborate with Engineering, Quality Control, and suppliers to drive global charging solutions, including V2L, PnC, and V2G standards, while participating in team development and architecture discussions.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Electronics/Electrical, Mechatronics, Software or Automotive Engineering
- Working experience with Standards like ISO 15118, SAE J1772, ISO 26262, GBTs etc
- Documentation of DFMEA, DVP, Timing Plans, Minutes and Actions of Meetings
- Automotive development processes
- Previous experience of OEM or tier one automotive systems
- Experience using DOORS Systems or any other platform to manage system/components requirements
- Strong track record of delivering significant high value business and delivering to very tight timescales
- Driven to delivering high quality projects, on time and budget, beyond customer expectations
- Deep understand in charging station technical on the market with global standard like NACS, CCS2, CCS1, AC Type1,2 etc
- Able to anticipate, translate and develop customer requirements into tangible feature developments
- Expertise in automotive toolchains including Diagnostic Tools, Vector Tools, CANalyzer and CANoe etc for log file verification as Pcap log,blf, charging station log
- Expertise in communication protocols such as CAN/LIN/Flexray etc
- Expertise in product design, develop & DV at cell, module and battery pack systems
- Experience with EE Architecture and the thermal management (component/system)
- Understanding of Vehicle system elements (VCU, OBC, BMS and PDU etc)
- Able to actively participate in system FMEAs and related validation activities
- Experience of HV Battery, BMS and system development and the related New Product Introduction processes
