Job Summary
Oversee clinical staff and manage patient care in the Surgical and Procedural Services area, serving as the primary liaison for physicians, staff, patients, and families. Coordinate patient flow and staff assignments while ensuring oversight of patient safety, quality, and regulatory activities. Requires a current Registered Nurse license, two years of staff RN experience, and six months of relief charge or team leadership experience. Includes a comprehensive relocation package, progressive sign-on incentive, and free continuing education.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate
- 2 years of experience as a staff RN in the area of assignment
- demonstrated competency by achieving a minimum of 35 points on the RN Competency Model Evaluation form
- 6 months of experience as a Relief Charge RN
- experience in a team leadership role
- Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA)
