Job Summary
Conduct daily patient rounds to evaluate care quality and appropriateness, implementing corrective actions through peer coaching. Oversee the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, and evaluation, while coordinating interdisciplinary communication and patient teaching. Manage staff schedules, unit patient flow, and resource allocation to ensure efficient operations during night shifts. Serve as a preceptor for new nurses and model professional practice to support team development and retention. Uphold safety standards, regulatory requirements, and evidence-based protocols to maintain high-quality patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed RN
- Knowledge of Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act
