Job Summary
Lead the department as Charge Nurse to coordinate patient care, determine staffing, assign tasks, and mentor direct care staff. Ensure timely, safe, high-quality care, align the plan of care with the bedside nurse, set expectations for professional conduct, and act as a resource while ensuring regulatory compliance. Requires RN licensure, BLS within 30 days, and unit-specific certifications as needed; sign-on bonus for eligible full-time RNs with at least 1 year of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN)
- Current RN license in the hiring state or compact state
- BLS (AHA) required within 30 days of hire
