Job Summary
Coordinate quality nursing care for acute respiratory patients on a 12-bed Pulmonary unit, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care within organizational policies. Provide clinical support when census demands arise and communicate departmental issues and staff concerns to appropriate leaders. Serve as a resource for guidance and assistance to the nursing staff while maintaining standards of practice. Work full-time nights from 7pm to 7am with a sign-on bonus available and specialty differential. The clinical team collaborates closely with hospitalists, pulmonologists, and respiratory therapists to deliver top-notch care for patients with acute and chronic respiratory issues.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a nursing program
- One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- Two or more years of nursing experience in a hospital setting
- Bachelor's degree
- Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable
- Demonstrated clinical competency
