Job Summary
Coordinate quality nursing care for acute and chronic respiratory patients on a 12-bed Pulmonary unit, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while maintaining organizational standards. Provide clinical care as needed during census demands and coordinate delivery of care for patients from birth through the lifecycle, including operational issues during the shift. Serve as a resource for guidance and assistance to staff, communicating patient care and departmental concerns to appropriate leaders. Work full-time nights from 7pm to 7am with a sign-on bonus and specialty differential available. Current Georgia RN license, BLS certification, and one year of hospital experience required; two years preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a nursing program
- One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- Two or more years of nursing experience in a hospital setting
- Bachelor's degree
- Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable
- Demonstrated clinical competency
