Job Summary
Charge RN overseeing MedSurg and Oncology units, coordinating the delivery of quality nursing care from birth through the lifecycle, providing clinical care as needed, communicating patient care and staff concerns to leadership, and serving as a resource and leader for staff. Requires active RN licensure and a broad set of certifications (BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, PEARS, TNCC/ENPC as applicable, chemotherapy/biotherapy certification, and fetal monitoring qualifications) with orientation timelines. The role emphasizes care coordination, development and evaluation of individualized care plans, collaboration with healthcare consumers and stakeholders, and adherence to evidence-based practice to promote safe, effective, and fiscally responsible nursing services. The position is based in Piedmont Augusta Hospital with location indicated as Andover, KS (US).
Required Qualifications
- RN license (Georgia or multistate)
- BCLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- NRP by orientation period
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Program within 12 months
- PEARS Certification
- PALS if unit cares for pediatric patients
- ACLS and PALS certifications (Emergency Department)
- TNCC (as applicable)
- ENPC (as applicable)
- Infusion/Oncology: Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification prior to independent administration
- Nurse Residents or new-to-specialty certifications within 6 months where required
