Job Summary
Charge RN on MedSurg nights coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle, provides clinical care as needed, communicates patient care and staff concerns to leadership, and serves as a resource for staff guidance. Requires RN licensure (GA), 1 year hospital experience (required) with several advanced certifications including BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP by orientation, AWHONN fetal monitoring within 12 months, and PEARS certification; sign-on bonus available; 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week (7 pm–7 am).
Required Qualifications
- RN - Georgia licensure
- BCLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- PALS Certification
- NRP by end of orientation (Womens Services: Labor and Delivery, Mother/Baby, NICU, NAT, Nursery)
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Program within 12 months of start date
- PEARS Certification (at Piedmont Athens Hospital)
- PALS if unit provides care to pediatric patients (Surgical Services)
- ACLS and PALS Certification (Emergency Department)
