Coordinate patient care delivery by determining staffing needs and making patient assignments for the medical telemetry unit. Ensure all patients receive timely, safe, effective, and high-quality care while coordinating care plans with bedside nurses. Set expectations regarding professional conduct and hold direct and indirect care providers accountable for adherence to regulatory guidelines. Provide mentorship and guidance to the team, serving as a resource for the patient care unit. Manage operations for patients with multisystem needs including heart failure, respiratory distress, and dysrhythmias, while balancing telemetry and cardiac management requirements.
