Job Summary
Coordinate care on designated weekend shifts by acting as a resource nurse, providing direct patient care, and determining staffing fluctuations. Lead staff members in the area of patient care while addressing immediate staff issues and responding to departmental concerns. Provide immediate oversight of employees while performing directly related work as those the position leads. Manage patient flow across eight labor and delivery suites, two triage bays, two operating rooms, and two recovery bays. Work 24 hours weekly from 7am to 7pm. Requires one year of RN experience, current Indiana or compact state RN license, and certifications including BLS, NRP, ACLS, S.T.A.B.L.E, and Low Risk Neonatal Nursing.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved nursing program
- Holding a minimum of an ASN
- Current Indiana or compact state RN license
- BLS for Healthcare Providers
- NRP certification
- ACLS certification
- S.T.A.B.L.E certification
- Low Risk Neonatal Nursing RNC-LRN
- One year of nursing experience
- Weekend Only Work (WOW)
- Days (7am-7pm)
- Part-time (24 Hours Weekly)
- Drug-free workplace
