Charge Nurse position in Thoracic/Cardiovascular PCU at Jewish Hospital responsible for managing unit operations, providing clinical education, and ensuring patient care quality in a 22-bed vascular thoracic unit during night shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program (required)
- All new-hire Associate Degree Registered Nurses must start an approved BSN program within one (1) year of hire
- Current KY RN licensure or compact license with privileges to work in Kentucky (required)
- Basic Life Saving (BLS) accreditation by the American Heart Association (AHA) (required)
- Participation in the Nurse Residency program for all new RN graduates (required)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program (preferred)
- Two years of hospital patient care experience (preferred)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) accreditation may be required for specific clinical areas
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) accreditation may be required for specific clinical areas
Additional Requirements
- Current Kentucky RN licensure or compact license required
