Oversee a department of frontline nurses caring for patients while advocating for their performance and supporting their full potential. Assess patient needs holistically, including physical, psychosocial, and spiritual aspects, to plan and implement appropriate interventions and evaluate outcomes. Administer and document medications as ordered, coordinate post-discharge needs, and lead the ongoing delivery of patient care services by delegating work based on acuity and team competencies. Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements while participating in quality improvement activities to improve clinical outcomes and address patient safety.
