Charge RN Burn Unit

Provide clinical leadership at the bedside in a Burn Unit, coordinate delivery of specialized burn care, oversee patient assignments, mentor staff, and guide nurses to ensure evidence-based standards of care. Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, rehabilitation specialists, and other interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans addressing acute burn management, pain control, fluid resuscitation, wound care, infection prevention, and psychosocial support. Lead shift triage of admissions, facilitate patient flow, coordinate dressing changes, graft care, and complex wound management; monitor clinical indicators and respond to changes in patient condition. Support staff education, precept new team members, and contribute to performance improvement initiatives focused on patient outcomes, patient experience, and operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with hospital policies, documentation standards, and regulatory requirements. Pursue ongoing professional development and leadership training within HCA Healthcare’s network. Ideal for an experienced burn or critical care nurse dedicated to mentoring others in a high-acuity setting.
