Job Summary
Provide clinical leadership for the delivery of respiratory care services, coordinating day-to-day operations of Respiratory Services, mentorship and education for staff and students, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Role involves planning and implementing therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, supervising staff, budgeting considerations, ensuring equipment and supplies availability, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives across the department. Requires advanced Diploma in Respiratory Therapy, CRT/CTRS registration in Ontario, leadership and teaching experience, and ability to travel between local sites. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a three (3) year Advanced Diploma in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited college
- Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field is preferred
- Current Certificate of Registration in good standing with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario
- Ministry of Labour “Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps” training certificate is required
- Minimum of five (5) years’ recent and relevant experience in Respiratory Therapy
- Related leadership experience including training and mentoring staff, students and colleagues is preferred
- Adult teaching and supervisory experience is preferred
