Job Summary
Lead and oversee nursing care on an assigned unit by organizing, prioritizing, and delegating workflow while collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans. Manage unit crises by coordinating solutions, evaluate practice to create improvement strategies, and assist staff in applying evidence-based knowledge. Serve as a role model for compliance, quality assurance, and performance improvement initiatives, utilizing AIDET and SBAR for clear communication with patients, families, and physicians. Complete monthly training, participate in new hire orientation and staff evaluations, and report equipment or environmental issues. Maintain basic unit maintenance, including keeping files and cabinets organized, and adhere to HIPAA regulations and safety protocols. May float to other hospital areas as needed. Full-time employment with 12-hour shifts, paid overtime after eight hours, and a $10,000 sign-on/retention bonus for full-time candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Charge Registered Nurse I
- Two (2) years' experience preferred in the area applied for
