Charge Registered Nurse RN - Post Surgical

Coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership while ensuring implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care in the assigned area. Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during assigned shifts, contributing to or performing performance evaluations. Assess daily patient care needs and develop patient care assignments for the 24-bed post-operative bariatric unit, focusing on patients recovering from gastric bypass and sleeve gastrectomy. Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care and identify issues affecting desired outcomes. Respond to complaints about patient care and manage them through established channels. Provide input for hiring, training, directing, and evaluating staff. Full-time nights shifts (7pm–7am) with no weekends; 3–12-hour shifts per week.
