Charge Registered Nurse RN - Post Surgical

Coordinate unit staffing, assign, direct, and monitor nursing and support staff during assigned shifts, and develop patient care assignments for the 24-bed post-operative bariatric unit. Assess daily patient needs, evaluate care effectiveness, and manage patient care complaints through established channels. Contribute to or perform performance evaluations of staff and provide input for hiring, training, and development. Requires current Alabama RN licensure, BLS certification within 30 days, and one year of cumulative job-specific experience. Full-time nights shifts (7pm–7am) with no weekends; salary negotiable. Located at UAB St. Vincent's East.
