Charge Registered Nurse RN - Post Surgical

Coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership while ensuring implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care in the assigned area. Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during shifts, contributing to or performing performance evaluations. Assess daily patient care needs, develop and distribute patient care assignments, and evaluate the effectiveness of care to identify issues affecting outcomes. Respond to complaints about patient care and manage them through established channels. Provide input for hiring, training, directing, development, and evaluating of staff. This full-time night role covers a 24-bed post-operative bariatric unit specializing in gastric bypass and sleeve gastrectomy patients. The position requires an Alabama-licensed RN with BLS certification and one year of cumulative job-specific experience.
