Charge Registered Nurse RN - Post Surgical

Coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership while ensuring implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care for the 24-bed post-operative bariatric unit. Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during assigned shifts, contributing to or performing performance evaluations. Assess daily patient care needs, develop and distribute assignments for Gastric Bypass and Sleeve Gastrectomy patients, and evaluate care effectiveness to identify issues affecting outcomes. Respond to patient care complaints through established channels and provide input for hiring, training, and staff development. Manage full-time night shifts from 7pm to 7am with no weekend coverage.
