Charge Registered Nurse RN - Post Surgical

Coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership while ensuring implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care in the assigned area. Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during shifts, contributing to or performing performance evaluations. Assess daily patient care needs for post-operative bariatric patients, develop care assignments, and evaluate the effectiveness of care to identify issues affecting outcomes. Respond to complaints about patient care and manage them through established channels. Provide input for hiring, training, directing, development, and evaluating of staff. This role operates full-time nights from 7pm to 7am on a 3-12 hour shift basis within the 24-bed 6 West Post Surgical unit.
