Charge Registered Nurse RN - Post Surgical

Coordinate unit staffing, assign, direct, and monitor nursing and support staff during assigned shifts in the 24-bed Post-Operative Bariatric unit. Assess daily patient care needs for post-surgical weight loss surgery patients, develop care assignments, and evaluate care effectiveness to ensure desired outcomes. Contribute to performance evaluations, respond to patient care complaints through established channels, and provide input on hiring, training, and staff development. Full-time nights schedule (7pm–7am) with no weekends; 3–12-hour shifts per week. Requires current Alabama RN licensure, BLS certification within 30 days, and one year of cumulative job-specific experience.
