Charge Registered Nurse RN - Post Surgical

Coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership while ensuring implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care in the assigned area. Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during assigned shifts, including contributing to or performing performance evaluations. Assess daily patient care needs for post-operative bariatric patients undergoing gastric bypass or sleeve gastrectomy, develop and distribute patient care assignments, and evaluate the effectiveness of care to identify issues affecting desired outcomes. Respond to complaints about patient care and manage them through established channels, while providing input for hiring, training, directing, and evaluating staff. Full-time nights shift (7pm–7am) with no weekends; 3–12 hour shifts per week.
