Charge Registered Nurse RN - Post Surgical

Coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership while ensuring implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care in the assigned area. Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during assigned shifts, contributing to or performing performance evaluations. Assess daily patient care needs, develop and distribute assignments for the 24-bed post-operative bariatric unit, and evaluate care effectiveness to identify issues affecting patient outcomes. Respond to complaints about patient care and manage them through established channels. Provide input for hiring, training, directing, development, and evaluating of staff. Full-time nights schedule (7pm–7am) with 3–12-hour shifts per week.
