Charge Registered Nurse RN - Post Surgical

Coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership while ensuring implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care in the assigned area. Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during shifts, contributing to or performing performance evaluations. Assess daily patient care needs for post-operative bariatric patients, develop and distribute assignments, and evaluate care effectiveness to identify issues affecting outcomes. Respond to patient care complaints through established channels and provide input for hiring, training, and staff development. Manage 3–12 hour night shifts (7pm–7am) full-time with no weekends on the 24-bed 6 West Post Surgical unit.
