Charge Registered Nurse RN - Post Surgical

Coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership while ensuring implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care in the 24-bed post-operative bariatric unit. Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during assigned shifts, contributing to or performing performance evaluations. Assess daily patient care needs, develop patient care assignments, and evaluate the effectiveness of care to identify issues affecting desired outcomes. Respond to complaints about patient care through established channels and provide input for hiring, training, and staff development. Requires current Alabama RN licensure, BLS certification, and one year of cumulative job-specific experience. Full-time nights shifts (7pm-7am) with no weekends.
