Charge Registered Nurse RN - Post Surgical

Coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership while ensuring implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care in the 24-bed post-operative bariatric unit. Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during assigned shifts, including performance evaluations. Assess daily patient care needs for post-Gastric Bypass and Sleeve Gastrectomy patients, distributing assignments and evaluating care effectiveness to identify issues affecting outcomes. Respond to patient care complaints through established channels and provide input for hiring, training, and staff development. Maintain current Alabama RN licensure and obtain BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Full-time nights shifts (7pm–7am) with no weekends; salary and benefits details in other fields.
