Charge Registered Nurse RN - Post Surgical

Coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership while ensuring implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care in the assigned area. Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during assigned shifts, including contributing to or performing performance evaluations. Assess daily patient care needs for post-operative bariatric patients, develop and distribute patient care assignments, and evaluate the effectiveness of care to identify issues affecting outcomes. Respond to complaints about patient care through established channels and provide input for hiring, training, and staff development. This role supports a 24-bed unit focusing on gastric bypass and sleeve gastrectomy patients, with full-time night shifts from 7pm to 7am.
