Charge Registered Nurse RN - Post Surgical

Coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership while ensuring implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care in the assigned area. Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during assigned shifts, contributing to or performing performance evaluations. Assess daily patient care needs for post-operative bariatric patients undergoing procedures like Gastric Bypass and Sleeve Gastrectomy, distributing assignments to ensure population-appropriate care. Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care, identify issues affecting desired outcomes, and respond to complaints through established channels. Provide input for hiring, training, directing, development, and evaluating of staff. Full-time nights schedule (7pm–7am) with no weekends; 3–12 hour shifts per week.
