Charge Registered Nurse RN - Post Surgical

Coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership for the 24-bed post-operative bariatric unit, focusing on patients recovering from Gastric Bypass and Sleeve Gastrectomy. Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during assigned shifts, while assessing daily patient care needs and distributing assignments to ensure population-appropriate care. Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care, respond to complaints through established channels, and contribute to or perform performance evaluations of staff. Provide input for hiring, training, and development of the team. Work full-time nights from 7pm to 7am, with no weekends or overtime shifts.
