Charge Registered Nurse RN - Post Surgical

Coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership for the 24-bed post-operative bariatric unit, assigning, directing, and educating nursing and support staff during 3–12 hour night shifts from 7pm to 7am. Assess daily patient care needs for post-Gastric Bypass and Sleeve Gastrectomy patients, distribute assignments, and evaluate care effectiveness to ensure desired outcomes. Manage complaints through established channels and contribute to hiring, training, and performance evaluations of the team. Maintain current RN licensure in Alabama with BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
