Charge Registered Nurse RN - Post Surgical

Coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership while ensuring implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care in the 24-bed post-operative bariatric unit. Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during assigned 3-12 hour shifts from 7pm to 7am, while assessing daily patient care needs and distributing assignments. Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care, identify issues affecting outcomes, and manage patient care complaints through established channels. Contribute to or perform performance evaluations of staff and provide input for hiring, training, and development. Requires current Alabama RN licensure, BLS certification, and one year of job-specific experience.
